Policies

Scheduling Your First Session

In order to schedule your first session a credit card is required to be on file and will be charged day-of the session. You may not schedule a session without completing this step.

Rescheduling or Cancelling

You may reschedule or cancel up to 24 hours before your session’s start time. If changes occur after 24 hours there will be a $60 late-change fee to the card on file, regardless of if you are paying privately or through insurance.

If the dietitian is required to reschedule a session no payment or late-change charge will be filed.

Co-pay

If using insurance benefits for our services you may be required to pay a co-pay. For most insurance companies, we are considered a specialist. Therefore, your specialist co-pay is applicable and is payable at the time of service. This information is often apparent on the front of your actual insurance card. If a co-pay is due it will be charged using the card on file.

Communications After or Between Sessions

A thoughtful response will be provided for questions sent within 5 business days of the last session. One email will respond to all questions sent within this time frame.

Please write down or email questions you develop after this time frame. They can be addressed at follow-up sessions.

Why does Everyday Nutrition have all these policies?

Our practice develops a custom care plan for each of your sessions. Your dietitian needs to evaluate your health records before you ever log onto the telehealth appointment. This is why we operate with a strict cancellation policy and clear expectations for fees.
